Sam
and Rosie are a pair of adorable
bunnies who have been together and
intend on keeping it that way.
Recently returned to Rabbit Rescue
because their owners did not want to
spend any money on them, this pair
is now hoping luck can turn their
way and they can get a true forever
home, together. They are a comical
pair. Rosie is a big rex who easily
outweighs her little friend Sam,
who's a dwarf. Because she is a rex,
Rosie is plush as a baby's stuffed
toy. Rosie's not actually
overweight, but she has a large
dewlap that gives that impression at
first glance. These guys love to
cuddle and groom each other and they
never seem to have little spats like
many bonded pairs do. Rosie has no
cage aggression whatsoever and is
very sweet and loving. She is also
the more confident one and helps Sam
gain the confidence to go exploring
outside of their pen. Rosie loves a
good scratch on her forehead and to
spread out in long bunny flops. Sam
is a bit more shy but loves to
explore as well, and once he knows
you will gladly settle down for a
scratch as well. He loves to jump
onto the ledge in his pen, whereas
Rosie feels too big to do such
gymnastics. Both bunnies are
learning to trust strangers and cats
at a fast rate! Please give them a
forever home that is truly forever.

Comments ::
Cuddles and Mikey came to RR when
their owner could no longer take
care of them due to illness. These
two are very sweet, and very much in
love with one another. They spend a
lot of time just cuddling and
grooming one another. Both bunnies
are very friendly and like to be
pet. They enjoy sitting with you for
cheek rubs and face pets. They
really like to eat lots of fresh
veggies and the occasional special
treat like fruit or a bunny cookie.
These two will need a bit of bunny
proofing for chewing, but in general
they are very good. They like to
explore, but they aren't super
adventurous. They would do well in a
home where they were free range or
semi free-range in their own room.
Cuddles & Mikey are both litter
trained and have lived in a home
with gentle cats and dogs without
any problems. They've very happy
with one another, but now they need
a forever home that will be able to
love them and give them extra
amounts of snuggles and love. They
must be adopted together.

Comments ::
Teddy and Cutey were returned to
Rabbit Rescue when their owner could
no longer afford them.
Teddy loves to be pet. He will sit
still forever getting his head and
body pet. He loves raisins, celery,
dried mango, and bananas. He is a
bit shy at first but comes around
quickly. His fur feels like velvet.
Cutey is a little more shy but she
is very sweet when she opens up and
wants to be pet. She loves apples,
raisins, and dried mango. They both
love climbing on boxes and playing
in their castle. They love hay. It's
always gone so quick when I put it
in. I have to fill the box up with
it a lot through out the day.
They have perfect litterbox habits.

Snoopy and Beatrix were both
originally adopted from Rabbit
Rescue, and have recently been
returned because their owner could
no longer take care of them due to
illness. They may need a few extra
locks on their condo to keep them in
at night, but these two certainly
are a hoot and full of personality.
Both bunnies are litter trained and
although their adoptive home will
need to be bunny proofed (and escape
proofed), they are not very
destructive. They would do very well
free range, and would be happiest
this way. All of the escape plans
come from wanting to be out and
involved with their people. Snoopy
in particular is very adventurous,
but he seems to have rubbed off on
Beatrix and she's catching up a bit.
Both bunnies are very sweet and love
to be pet. Snoopy and Beatrix have
lived in a home with dogs and cats
before, and don't seem phased by
them at all (as long as the
cats/dogs are gentle and respectful
of the bunnies). They like to get a
lot of attention, so they're just
looking for a home that is ready to
love them and spend lots of time
with them. They would love to be the
only bunnies in their new home, so
they don't have to fight for more
bunny attention. Snoopy and Beatrix
must be adopted together.

Binky and Daisy Mae were adopted out
separately a few years ago and then
bonded. Their owner had to give them
up to very severe allergies.
They came back to RR as a bonded
pair, and have, over the last few
years bounced around to many
different homes through not fault of
their own.
DaisyMae is very good for picking up
and putting down.
They both love playing in the leaves
in their foster moms backyard, an
are very curious. They are very much
in love with each other and of
course need to go to their forever
home together. They are a truly
lovely pair of bunnies who deserve a
permanent home.

Bugsy and Lola were surrendered to
RR when their owner moved out of
country. Lola originally came from
RR and was bonded to Bugsy. They
must be adopted together. Bugsy came
in to us with a tumor on his back,
which was successfully removed. The
lab report states that it was
removed in its entirety and should
not return. This will not affect his
health.
Bugsy loves being around people. He
also enjoys being outside in the
backyard and chewing on the grass.
He is full of energy and loves to do
binkies. He loves climbing, running,
and jumping. When you pet his head
he will lie down right away and fall
asleep beside you. He will tooth
purr for you to let you know he is
enjoying the one on one time. He
will also come up to you and kiss
you on your forehead. Bugsy has
never been around children before,
but he has been around dogs and
loves to make new friends. He loves
any kind of vegetable you put in
front of him. His favorite
vegetables are romaine lettuce and
parsley. He loves chewing on timothy
hay all day long and enjoys
crunching on timothy cubes. He also
loves apples and bananas. His
favorite toys are the ones with
bells in them because he likes the
sound they make, and he will pick it
up and throw it across the room.
Lola
Once adopted from RR, Lola bonded
quickly to Bugsy and they have been
joined at the hip ever since. Lola
has some scaring on one of her ears
from an old injury but it does not
affect her in any way and it will
not cause her any medical problems.
She is shy at first but warms up to
you at her own pace. Lola likes to
do binkies and jump around during
her free range time, but most also
likes to curl up and relax most of
the time. She loves being out in the
backyard and chewing on the grass.
She will quietly sit with you and
loves getting pet on the head. Her
favorite fruit is banana. She loves
her pellets, but most of the time
she prefers to chew on timothy hay.
She is a calm and collected soul.
She will gladly sit on your lap for
hours. She also enjoys chewing on
timothy cubes with Bugsy and loves
apple treats. She has not been
exposed to children but she also
gets along with dogs and likes to
make new friends just like Bugsy
does. Lola will probably do best in
a quiet, calm environment. Both
bunnies must be watched around cords
and wires when out. We strongly
suggest some good bunny proofing!
Both of these bunnies come with some
supplies including toys, litter box,
log house, food dishes, water
bottles, etc.

Comments :: Theo is a bundle of playful bun. Not shy in the least and loves to check out everything. He's
affectionate once he settles down from playing and if you scratch his sides he will puddle to the floor for more.
Athena is not as active yet. She came to us with a broke leg. It is healing beautifully and the cast came off a few weeks ago. She has been on bed rest for a bit just to make sure she is healed up well but she is doing great.
And for all she has been through what a sweet girl. She loves having her head and ears pet and will return the affection by kissing your whole face.

Comments ::
Buckwheat and Phoebe have been returned far too many times and through no fault of their own. Most recently they were returned when their owner could no longer look after them. These two deserve nothing but the best as they are the sweetest bunch of lovebugs! Buckwheat was originally brought into a shelter as a stray. Phoebe came originally from a shelter where she had an abscess that was not being treated. Rabbit Rescue had her abscess removed and she was adopted out and bonded to Buckwheat. These two are approximately six years old.
Buckwheat is the angora and the more outgoing of the two. His coat is gorgeous and soft, and he sits very well to be brushed. He must be brushed often to prevent his fur from getting matted. He's a very curious boy who likes to explore and he's very friendly.
Phoebe is a bit more reserved, but comes around in her own time. She loves to eat, and if she was allowed to, she would probably make herself chunky by eating too many pellets and treats, so she'll always have to have her meals properly portion controlled. This also means that someone has to be in charge of making sure Buckwheat gets his fair share of food. Both bunnies love to eat their veggies and love to cuddle up for pets, and if not from you, then from each other. Definitely a very sweet, cuddly and loveable pair.
Can you give Buckwheat and Phoebe the forever home they've been waiting for?

Handy and Harley were rescued from a meat farm where their fate was
definitely a unfair and sad one. Since coming to RR both of these gentle giants have gained trust with their human companions. They enjoy being petted and brush and do not seem to mind being held. Both boys get so excited when their human enters the room. They run in circles and binky while awaiting their morning food or afternoon snack.
Handy is an adventurous boy who loves tip toeing through new places and exploring new things. He loves having space to run and enjoys spending time in the outdoors. Handy loves carrots, parsley, and romaine lettuce. He is also a huge hay eater so always make sure you have plenty of fresh hay available.
Harley is the big brother of the two. He looks out for Handy and is always more cautious when exploring a new area. He enjoys roaming around outside and stays close to Handy when doing so. Harley also enjoys his veggies and hay. Both boys enjoy treats such as banana. Anyone looking for a large breed of bunny would instantly fall in love with these two buns. Both boys were neutered in April 2008 and are in great health. They weigh approximately 7-8lbs
each.

Daisy (small grey and white bunny) and Donald (black with splashes of white on his toes) were rescued from a local shelter when their time was up. They were have been spayed and neutered upon arrival and are now in a foster home. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. They are adjusting to their new life and love to move around. They are rarely still for a moment. They love to snuggle and groom one another and when not doing that, they are exploring or playing in their cardboard boxes. Donald is the braver of the two always looking for attention while Daisy holds back but when she decides it is safe she dives in for attention too. They have good litter habits and can only improve, so far no pee accidents on the floor. They love hay, veggies and their pelleted food. These two sweeties are just waiting for their forever home. the benefits of adopting a bonded pair are great, no stress involved in the bonding process, that has already been done for you. Their foster mom is fairly certain that once you meet them you will see just how sweet they are.
