Teddy and Cutey were returned to
Rabbit Rescue when their owner could
no longer afford them.
Teddy loves to be pet. He will sit
still forever getting his head and
body pet. He loves raisins, celery,
dried mango, and bananas. He is a
bit shy at first but comes around
quickly. His fur feels like velvet.
Cutey is a little more shy but she
is very sweet when she opens up and
wants to be pet. She loves apples,
raisins, and dried mango. They both
love climbing on boxes and playing
in their castle. They love hay. It's
always gone so quick when I put it
in. I have to fill the box up with
it a lot through out the day.
They have perfect litterbox habits.
Update from foster mom as of July
2010:
Teddy is the sweetest bunny I
have ever met. He will run up to
his cage and jump up as soon as
he see's me. He loves to be pet,
as soon as you start petting him
his tongue comes out and starts
licking either my hand or
whatever is in front of him like
a box. Teddy is a little piggy
he will eat anything you
give him, he's not picky at
all. Cutie is shy it takes her a
long time to come around. She
always follows teddy around.
They are always licking each
other and sleeping together.
When they are out of their condo
they make sure they can always
see each other. When you pet
cutie she lays down and lets you
give her a really long pet she
loves it. They are amazing
bunnies.

Comments ::
Millie is a little grey Netherland
Dwarf who weighs 1.05kg.
Stella is a white Holland Lop who is
2.4kg. They are bonded and would
like to be adopted out together.
They both came to RR on June 27th 2011
after being rescued by the Sudbury
SPCA from a bad situation in
Manitoulin Island, along with
hundreds of other rabbits. They were
vet checked upon arrival and are
both being treated for an URI. They
will be spayed shortly. More info on
her to come as their foster family
gets to know them. They
appear to be bonded, so they would
like to be adopted out together as a
pair.
UPDATE: Stella
was really shy when she first
arrived….she wouldn't let her foster
mom touch her at all. Now she races
all around the place and gives her
foster mom lots of nose bonks to pet
her. She loves to sit on laps and
snuggle while she gets petted.
Millie is a little bit more shy, but
she will allow petting. The both do
really big bunny flops and love to
just chill out.
Stella and Millie are very
comfortable with the cat in their
foster home.
Stella takes very good care of
Millie, constantly snuggling with
her and grooming her. Whenever
something bothers Millie she runs
over to Stella and hides her little
head behind her. They are a very
adorable pair to see together and
they love each other's company. Now
that they're starting to become more
comfortable around people their
litter habits will need some work.
While they do use the litter box to
do their business, there are still
several other places they mistake as
litter boxes. These two are a
beautiful, sweet and adorable pair
and will make a wonderful addition
to any home. Their
URI is being resolved and they will
be spayed shortly.
Update as of March 2012: Their
litter habits are really good and
they only use their litter
boxes....no accidents on the floor.
RR has successfully treated their
URIs and they are doing great.

They are lovely, sweet and
affectionate bunnies. Stella will
literally let you pet her for hours
and she LOVES to give kisses in
return. Millie is getting much
better with wanting to be pet and
when I sit on the floor she climbs
up on her foster moms lap (looking
for treats I suspect). They`re
really well behaved, and while they
don`t LOVE to be picked up they do
tolerate it. Stella loves to run in
her foster moms hallway and she does
great big binkies there. She doesn`t
seem to be afraid of anything and
actually chases the vacuum! She
adores people and affection and goes
up to everyone and nose bonks them.
Stella enjoys licking feet!
Wherever they are they always come
when they are called!
These 2 girls are so sweet
and smart and adorable. They are
free range right now, but they`ve
also been in a large pen and seemed
ok with that.

Dora is a Netherland dwarf, and at
only 1.2kg she is a small girl. Nessy has
beautiful colouring and is a brown
and white Dutch rabbit. She weighs
2kg. Both of these lovely girls came
to us on June 27th from
a massive rescue that RR assisted
the SPCA with. They
were both health checked by a vet
upon arrival and appear healthy.
They will both be spayed shortly. More
info to come as their foster family
gets to know them.
Update:
Dora is the more dominant bunny
in this relationship. She
is very interested in what is
happening around her, doesnt show
much fear, but it will take some
time to get her used to being
handled. She let her
foster mompet her, but
prefer if she approaches slowly.
She is
a skinny little girl, but her foster
mom is working on getting some good
nutrition into her. She
has lots of personality. Nessy is absolutely
beautiful. She is very nervous, but
will lay quietly and let you pet her
for as long as you like. She is
healthy and soft and forced her
friendship on Dora by
following her around the cage like a
puppy. They now snuggle side by
side or nose to nose. Nessy moves
around alot and
likes to get into everything. She
is interested in toys and digging in
her box. They are both doing great
with litter training.
Update as of March 2012 Dora and Nestle are a wonderful pair of rabbits.
They are sweet and friendly and have good litter habits.
Dora the dwarf is the friendlier of the two, giving bunny kisses, and flattening herself out into a rabbit puddle of goo when she is pet.
Nestle the dutch is very inquisitive and adventurous. She shows a fearless attitude in new surroundings. When her foster mom can't find her, she is usually either at the bottom of a box of hay, or climbing to the top of her condo to look around. Both buns are perfectly at ease with dogs and cats, approaching them for a good sniff whenever they are nearby. These buns would make excellent free range bunnies with a bit of bunny proofing, and will make some bunny parent very lucky.

Jasmine and Mimi are an adorable
pair of Holland Lop rabbits that
came to us on June 27th along
with over 100 other rabbits that
needed our help. They were brought
to us by the SPCA after they took in
100s from a horrible home. Jazmine
is a female seal point lop. She has
a very healthy appetite and is quite
friendly and circles her
foster moms feet
when she goes in
the pen. She
is currently on medication but is
doing well.
Mimi is a grey/brown mix female lop.
She is also
on medication, and doing well, but
is not a fan of getting her
medicine. She
is friendly as well until she sees
that towel come out and she knows
its medicine time and runs away to
the corner.
Can you provide these
lovely ladies with a forever home?
UPDATE: Jasmine
and Mimi are a couple of
characters! They are happy and
raring to go all the time. They
love to investigate anything new in
their bunny condo, and if there is
nothing new, they make their own
fun! They are enthusiastic about
everything, from food to water to
treats to attention! They are a joy
to watch and interact with, and will
make you smile and laugh all day
long with their happy antics.

Comments ::
Sam is a very
sweet dwarf bunny who came
to us in the past with his mate
Rosie. They
were a sweet bonded pair, but Rosie
past away. Sam
was then adopted out as a single
rabbit in
2011 and
bonded to Sophie, a tortoiseshell
lop. Unfortunately, their owners
are moving overseas, and can't take
the bunnies with them, so Sam &
Sophie are once again in need of a
forever home. These two are very
much in love - they love to snuggle
together and they really are an
adorable pair. Both can be a bit
shy with people at first, but they
do come around and both enjoy being
pet and having their cheeks rubbed.
They are both litter trained and
very well behaved. They are used
to living semi-free range in a room,
and they would do well in that type
of setup as neither bunny is very
destructive. Sam really enjoys
destroying and "redecorating" his
cardboard house, so he tends to
leave other things alone. Sophie
really changed once she was bonded
to Sam, and she's become a much
happier and easy going rabbit.
These two really are adorable
together - and just so sweet! Due
to their smaller sizes, Sam & Sophie
would not be the best match for a
home with young children. They both
prefer to keep their paws planted on
the floor,
but both bunnies are very friendly
and sweet and
happy on ground level.
Sam & Sophie are currently in a
foster home with friendly dogs and
cats, and don't seem bothered by
them at all - they are too much in
love to notice! Do you have room in
your home and heart for this great
pair? |
