Domino was
released to a shelter after
there had been several
complaints about his owner, to
animal control. The owner had a
number of animals, including
rabbits that were not being
looked after. He was brought to
a shelter, in hopes that RR
would be able to take him in, as
the shelter was full.
Being such a nice little bunny
and already having a rough life,
we knew we had to help him.
Despite this,
Domino is
a very friendly bunny,
he will climb all over
you, and up on your lap
when you sit with him.
He loves to explore and
climb on things and
sqeeze into small
spaces. After
exploring Domino loves
to flop out for a short
rest and very much
enjoys a cheek rub and
to be be stroked.
When he's in his cage he
makes himself comfy by
stretching his legs all
the way out behind him
or flopping out on his
bed. He is very easy to
pick and and put down,
does not kick up a fuss.
He is a very good hay
eater and loves all
greens and fruit as a
treat. Domino also likes
to chew on his willow
branches.
Domino is currently doing
well with his litter box
training. He is being
neutered by RR April
2011.

Cratchit came
from a shelter who was full
and could no longer keep
him. RR had him neutered
Dec. 2010. He is
a bit shy, but is very nice. When
in his cage he enjoys being
pet through the bars. He is
easy to pick up. Once he
gets to know someone he will
open open up and be a
loving bunny. He has
excellent litter habits. He
enjoys his hay, pellets and
water. His favourite is
veggies! He likes to play
with his toys and redecorates
his cage several times a
day, moving his box all
around. He is very curious.
He is really happy out of
his cage, he explores and
does binkies. He also
enjoys jumping on things and
having a great time!

for picking up and putting down.
He is good about using his
litter box. He is a delightful
boy and would likely be good as
a free range guy in a bunny safe
room as he has displayed no
destructive behavior.

Romeo came into the Rescue
from a shelter that was full
as they did not have any
room to keep him. His
favorite activities are
exploring his foster home
and bounding around doing
the Bunny 500. This active
boy enjoys refueling on his
favorite treat, apple
slices, for his marathon
running sessions. Romeo
prefers to do his own
redecorating of his pen and
is working on his litter
habits. Being a true
Casanova,
will take any pets and will
purr and lick you in
contentment.

Bowie (His foster mom calls him
Boo Boo because
of all his injuries) is a young
New Zealand. He
came to us in very poor
condition after being picked up
by animal control. He was likely
outside for quite some time. He
is being treated for a pelvic
fracture, as well as ocular
issues. His
eye is slowly improving,
although he has limited vision
in the one eye. Only
time with the appropriate
medical treatment, will tell how
much improved his sight will
become. He
has not quite grown into his
ears yet which makes him look
adorable. He is very friendly
and is always happy to see you
when you come into the room. He
comes right over to have his
forehead rubbed and closes his
eyes in pure contentment. He
loves his food and despite his
injury he is using his litter
box well. He has such a
wonderful little spirit defying
all odds to recover from his
injuries and embracing his
second chance for a better life.
He is truly a gem! He
will be neutered as soon as he
is recovered from his injuries. If

Gideon is a wonderful male dutch dwarf.
He came to Rabbit Rescue on
June 27th after
being rescued by the Sudbury
SPCA from a neglectful home
with hundreds of other
rabbits. We
had him neutered on June
29th . He
has a quiet personality with
just the right amount of
spunk! He loves exploring,
climbing on his foster mom
and giving kisses. He is
starting to learn what
snuggles and pats are and as
each day passes he gets more
comfortable with his foster
mom. Gideon doesn’t fuss
when he is picked up and
enjoys being held with his
head tucked under your arm.
Despite poor treatment in
his past he is extremely
trusting and gentle with
people and is excited for
his forever home!
UPDATE as of Sept 2011: he
would do well in a free
range home.

He gives nose bumps, kisses, runs his bunny 500 and does binkies everyday. He plays with his tunnel all the time, rolling it across the floor is particularly fun. Gideon is a pro at finding hidden treats and he likes mazes and obstacle courses.
He is very good about using his litter. Lettuce, carrots, and apple slices are all very well received for treats.

Benji is
a neutered white lop who
came to Rabbit Rescue on
June 27th 2011 after being
rescued by the Sudbury SPCA.
Despite his difficult start
in life he is a curious and
adventurous little guy,
always eager to great his
foster mom at his cage door. Benji loves
to be out exploring and
though he is a little hand
shy, he's starting to trust
a kind and gentle touch. He
has a great appetite and
loves to munch his veggies!

Ritz came to RR June 2011 from a
large scale Rescue through the
SPCA. He
was born approximately at the
start of June 2011. He
was neutered and recovered well
from surgery.
He is 100% litter trained. He
loves playing with toys. He is
not aggressive or destructive
(as long as he has toys to keep
him busy). He loves spending
time outside of his cage to run
and binky for hours! He is
friendly, easy to pick up.. He
likes all kinds of food and will
come when you call him for a
treat.
He is super sweet, likes to
cuddle, but he is also very
active, so needs to spend lots
of time exercising to burn all
the energy he has.

Have a lot of love but
short on space?
Then Aero is the rabbit
for you! He's a
fully grown, tiny guy
with a beautiful shiny
coat - one that would
make hair commercial
models jealous.
His litterbox habits are
excellent for an
unneutered male.
Once he is neutered,
he'll be a litterbox champ (neutering
will be happening
ASAP!). Given the
horrible situation he's
come from, he's
adjusting quite well to
his new surroundings (he
came to us on June 27th with
over 100 other bunnies
that were seized by the
SPCA). With more
socialization, his
personality will come
shining through!
As an additional bonus,
Aero is becoming well
versed in business
mathematics as a result
of his foster reading to
him while studying (so
he become comfortable
with her voice and
presence). He'll
be able to advise and
discuss financial
matters with you.
In short, Aero is as
cute as his namesake
chocolate bar is
delicious!

Bounce is such a sweet
curious bunny! He came from
a local shelter who
could not house him due
to his size.
A larger bunny, about 9
lbs, he is very well
behaved.
He likes to play with
his food dish, and lots
of toys. He’ll toss
around his sticks, and
balls often.
Bounce is great with well
behaved dogs,
and loves to
be pet.
He has excellent litter
habits. RR
had him neutered June
2011.
This great guy LOVES
mint, and just regular
grass from outside.
Banana would be his
favorite treat though.

Benji came to Rabbit
Rescue in Oct 2010.
A
very sweet
little boy with
a wonderful
personality he
was quickly
adopted.
Sadly he was returned
in Jan
2012 with
a very large abscess
on his face that had
been left untreated
for more than 2
months. This
was a VERY severe
case, and he
received the surgery
and care he needed the
day he got back into
our care. Poor Benji
was left to suffer
in pain for months. He
is a real trooper
though and is
fighting through for
a chance at a “real”
home this time. He
is now recovering
from his ordeal and
doing well. Finally
pain free and
without the
obstruction of this
abscess he is eating
well and is in good
spirits. Thankfully
the dental issue was
only from one
incisor and the vet
is very optimistic
that it will not
return.

Chance came to the Rescue during a
roundup in conjunction with
Toronto Animal Services This
rambunctious boy will binky and head
shake out of the sheer joy for just
being alive! He enjoys being outside
to nibble on the wild greens and to
explore like his wild
cousins. Chance does not seem to
mind loud noises and loves to
redecorate his condo. This sweet boy
does not like to be held for long
periods of time, but will jump on
you for pets or to have his cheeks
rubbed. |

Oreo was caught by a
group of rabbit rescue volunteers,
after his owner dumped him outside.
He is being neutered May 2011.
Oreo is adjusting very well, he is
completely litter trained now (only
goes in his cage in one particular
spot) and is developing a great
personality. He likes to be
out of his cage running around and
gets free reign of the house for a
couple of hours a day.
He does like to play in his cage by
throwing his food dish around, but
only every so often. He enjoys
being petted and
has started to give licks, but is
more comfortable on the floor than
on your lap. He
is eating lots of Timothy's hay and
Timothy's pellets. He
seems to be very happy, and the
other day he even did his first
binky!! He cant wait
to find a family of his very own
that will love him forever.

Lucky came to the
Rescue during a roundup in
conjunction with Toronto Animal
Services. He's a sweet bunny and
enjoys a very quiet atmosphere to
ruminate over his thoughts. Lucky is
most happiest when he's outside to
experience the wind in his fur and
the warm rays of the spring
sunshine. He's quite a fast learner
with his litter box habits and lives
for greens and the succulent taste
of banana. Lucky prefers not to be
held, but will demand pets by coming
to sit beside you.
