Comments :: Pistachio is an energetic fellow who loves his wheel and climbing all over his cage. he doesn't mind being touched (when you can catch him!) but seems a little nervous about being picked up. his foster home is working on getting him more comfortable with being handled.
He's such a cute little guy! He came to us when his time was up at a local shelter. He would love to be adopted into his forever home soon

Comments :: If you're looking for a friend to run the marathon with, look no further!  Ruth loves to run in her wheel, run outside of her cage for
long distances, and also run around inside her cage for long periods of time.  She enjoys recharging with hammie pellets and a
well-deserved treat of a sunflower seed. During her frequent power naps, she will sleep in her tube to maximize her sleeping time.  She hopes to join the Canadian Olympic Team in London in 2012 and be the first Canadian hamster to win a gold medal.

Mortimer came to us from a local shelter.  He is a handsome dwarf hamster! This friendly guy is pretty easy-going and doesn't mind being picked up and handled – although we found he was a bit shy with new people until he gets to know them.  He especially doesn't mind if there are treats involved! Give this guy a healthy treat and he will be your best friend forever. He is looking for a home that will make sure he has a nice exercise wheel, because he seems to be training for a marathon.
